Central New York | About 1 out of 3 times I stop, as I go from 2nd to 1st, my signal cancels. It seem to cancel about the same time as the neutral "N" flashes. Is this a "common" vision trait or am I special?
It seems to me that Polaris utilizes a resistance technology for data transmission. This, to me, seems a poor choice for an "outdoor" product. |

New Bohemia, VA | Need more description; is it regardless of distance traveled or speed? It will cancel on you if it is on for a minute or so, I think it is explained in the manual. If mine cancels I re-energize it as I'm making sure it is on when I have traffic behind. I've been using arm signals too to grab more attention. I don't know if works, but why not...

Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | Mine has cancelled a few times when I didn't think they should have. I just thought maybe I "pulled the trigger" (gear change, speed, time, whatever). Now that someone else mentioned it, I think there might be something wrong with mine. It only happens occasionally. Too infrequent to tie it to a certain cause. I'll start paying more attention to it now to see if I can make a connection between rider input and turn signal cancel. |

Central New York | It does not seem to be time related. Normal stop sign in a 35 mph neighborhood. As I roll to a stop, 5 mph or so, I kick it to first just before I drop the foot for the stop, as the green N flashes the signal cancels. |

| I have owned Vics for 10 years and have a habit of hitting the turn signal so it doesn't stop. I have had many people ask me how mine stay on so long but it's just a habit now. Better than following some dufus with their turn signal on for 5 miles. Heck, most people don't even use them in the Northeast.  |

| If you look at your speedo you'll see the light is cancelling at 20 mph as you have just shifted from first to second, it's normal. |

| My Vision seems to cancel much faster than my V92C did. I also know that I tend to signal a bit early sometimes - but it really bugs me to have to look to see if my signals are still on when there are so many other things I should be focused on.
Is there any way to remove the cancelling 'feature'? I would much rather be manual on this.. |

New Bohemia, VA | I've caught a habit lately, is if I'm changing lanes, I'll reengerize them without looking, just too make sure they are on. And when I no longer need them, I'll push the cancel to make sure they are off, again, without looking. In a since this is as manual as you can get. |

| Yeah - generally that's what I do also. I learned on a bike that didn't self cancel - so I rarely forget to cancel.
Still - it would be nice if I could just turn them on once.. |
