I've been reading where 2010 has a new feature so you can save to a GPS unit. There is a youtube video showing how you can create a custom route, save it, then open it in mapsource. I'm curious if this will work with the Streetpilot 2820 and the Zumo 650, 660, 665. Anybody try this yet?

Yes it is a new feature for 2010. I didn't post a link, but its easy to find on youtube. If you use google, there are a couple articles and forums.

Have you tried mapquest.com? You can plot a route, insert your starting and ending destinations, then let mapquest plot the route. You can then drag, like a rubber band, your route, if you want to vary the route. When you're done "constructing your route", then send to your GPS, using Garmin Communicator Plugin that you can download from garmin. Works really well! Vince.
