I finally get to take my Vision out for ride that's longer than going to work and back. I'm headed down to Sacto Ca. from Seattle. I'm not too excited about riding I-5 the whole way, but it's the first trip of any distance since I bought it a year ago. Aprox. 800 miles one way. I hope the weather holds out. I better get out there and change my oil tonight. I'm leaving out monday morning. Yahoo!! Ron

I am so jealous of fellow riders that can get the time off to ride like this. I have the time, just not the time to take it off. Ride safe!

Well, I have plenty of time off, I am unemployed. But I am just gonna buzz down there real quick, be home on wednesday as long as the weather doesnt get too bad. They are calling for snow level to be around 3500' monday night. I hope to make it to redding before dark. It's typical of my trips, usually have bad weather. That's ok, I dress for the occasion.

Got back yesterday around 3pm. It sucked going down due to the weather, I hit snow on Mt. Ashland, on the Or/Ca border, 33 degrees and snowing. Luckily it wasn't sticking, going across Mt. Shasta it was cold but not snowing. Rain and snow all the way to Redding. Tuesday was nice weather, and the ride back was beautiful. I wish I could've went on a longer ride, but I will take what I can get. I kept the cruise set at 75MPH there and back, and I averaged 38 MPG over the 1542 mile trip. The engine sounded/ran great the whole time.
I only saw one other Vision the whole time. Part of me hopes that Victory discontinues the Vision line so we can remain exclusive. I saw way too many Road Kings and Glides (of course that was after the weather got better).
