Placed and order for a Saddlemen BR4100 seat bag today. I think this is a great price if anyone is thinking about buying the Victory branded seat bag. As I understand the Vic bag and the Saddlemen are the same (made by Saddlemen) only diff' is the Vic has a logo attached.

The company I ordered from is at the link below and the bag ships for free UPS ground. They are currently in stock and the price is good till Aug. 1st.

$119 on sale...not a bad price. The add does'nt say how it attaches. Straps to the trunk?

I believe it straps around the passenger hand rails. I also read a comment that a customer wrote that it fits the C/C and C/R seats even better then the Vision.

Bought the same bag from Dennis Kirk for $103 before my June trip.
Took some experimenting to get it tied down on the Vision. Best to use the shoulder straps as anchor points.

not that it is worth the extra skins, the Victory bag has a slightly larger zipper pocket on the curve side. I've got the non-Vic bag and it is great for the long-haul and makes a nice backrest also.

Hoping I can run mine on the seat with just the passenger back rest, Really dont want to put the starwars trunk on for trips.

I've done it at least once, and it works very well.

Ive owned the Vic version for a couple seasons. Its awesome and holds twice what the trunk will hold. There is also the ability to strap more
goodies to the top of it should you need even more room. The two zipper compartments on each side are foil insulated and great for keeping
drinks cold etc. Prior to getting my driver backrest, I used one of those black beanbag neck pillow things for your car and put that in the
center panel under the bungee system, made for a great backrest for the driver.

Need to keep in mind that these bags aren't waterproof. Heck, they are barely water resistant.

But they are great bags, especially at this price !

Love the Saddleman, but would like to find a safe way to remove the emblem that sticks right into my spine if I have it packed full. Did pick up an inflatable camp pillow that I use, the same way that VaParadox did with the flight pillow, which covers the problem.

Does anyone know how well this bag would sit on the rear luggage rack? I never use the Tour Pack and always have the passenger backrest and luggage rack installed. Just curious how it would fit if the wife was riding and I needed to put it on that rack.

Thanks,

I think it can be done, it come with enough straps. I think it would overhang some one the back part. I could check it out the weekend for you, if you like.

Had a 1800 mile weekend to the Tail and back with the Saddleman. I tucked a folded T-shirt in the elastic cords. The insulated front pockets were nice to keep water in. Worked great.

Just an fyi for those that ride without the tour pack......while I was at Arizona Victory this weekend I checked to see how this bag sits on the Victory luggage rack and I have to tell you the fit is excellent! It overhangs just ever so slightly but nothing to be concerned with and looks great. I'll be ordering one very soon.
