I made this post before under "Great Deals" - they still have some great deals. I stopped by and got the word that there may be another dealer opening as soon as they shut their doors. Don't know when or where, but it should be in the works.

Rather sad though - but on the good side, I could have rolled away on a Vegas Low, a bike only second to the Vision for me, for a few pennies, but I was a little short.

I agree....this is a bummer.

The Catlin's are good people and this is a result of the economy and Polaris' way of doing business....

That is awful news. I have been giving them all of my business lately and thoroughly enjoyed their service and customer attitude. The next closest one is in Chesepeake and I don't like them. That is bad news for me, but worse for them. Hopefully another one will open.

We drove out there today to visit. Checked out the location and look of one of the competitors who might buy the Victory line from Catlin.
They already sell Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and ATV's and off roaders etc... We will miss the outstanding service from the Catlins
but luckily they are good friends so we wont miss their friendship and all the fun we have outside the shop. They are down to about
8 bikes left selling all at invoice price to get them sold. They also have Vision accessories, Xbike accessories and a lot of other stuff.
I bought S1-L1 for my Vision, they have one kit left and two kits S1-L2 left selling at cost.

Hey Prime, give them a call around 10:00am, I know they'll be glad to tell you, and you might want to ask them to hold them for you if you're on your way, things like that might go quick.

This sucks, they are one of the best dealers out there...

The guys in Chesepeake are a bit rough around the edges (years of pawn shop ownership), but they are straight shooters. They may not be perfect, but they can be trusted, even if you don't like what they might tell you.

I have tried them and they have been rude most of the time not to mention they carry almost no Vision parts in stock.

The positive point on this one is Victory is stepping up and encouraging someone to take up the batton. Just don't know when or where.

Looking for fellow tidewater vision riders-are you one? I just started the vision thing this week. Looking for an owners manual as well- Are you in possession of one?

I used to live in Tidewater but you all can keep it, too much like Fairfax/Prince William. I do live about 40 miles from Billburg which makes a nice ride along the Nickel/Dime route to get something to eat. As far as a manual, mine is MIA. I think someone posted a link to one recently on another post.
