I've read several post here and on the vmc forum from Vision riders that have lost a floorboard. My dealer also informed me to be careful when washing my bike. He said it was easy to knock a c-clip off the bolts and not notice it. I was thinking of using a die to put some threads on the end of the floorboard bolt and put a chrome domed nut w/locktite. I need to check to see if there is enough of the bolt sticking out to do so. Anybody modified their bolt?

This was an issue they solved at the factory. Mine is locktited in the board. Others have replaced the loose pins with stainless steel bolts There is not enough pin to thread and get a nut on.
