Has anyone tried any of these Chrome paint products? Not the $5.00 cans at the hardware store but a product like "Killer Chrome". It is a 3 stage product that is supposed to be usable in a home garage. Claims to look as good as chrome.

I checked out the website and it looks believable. I was wondering if anyone has already checked these types of products out yet?
Here is the site if anyone wants to see it. http://www.alsacorp.com/products/killercans/kc/killerchrome.htm#app...
Any experience out there? Advice on this product would be welcome.

I am thinking this would work well on the grey tailfin portions of our rides! It looks good, anyway. I wished I had advise on it, but it should be as durable as paint...

It is spendy but not as much as chroming or purchasing chrome replacement panels for all of the brushed aluminum pieces. I saw a belt pully done with this stuff and it looked good. Still thinking about it...

Sounds like a great alternative to waiting for chrome accessories to finally arrive from Victory - especially the plastic parts. The black chrome would look awesome on the black vision.

I was thinking it would look good on the tail pieces. Maybe the tipovers in back?? I doubt it would hold up well on the grab handles.-----

1. All the photos are of indoor stuff?
2. All the photos look like Bert Munroy did them in Photoshop?
3. $115 for 3 cans seems expensive?
4. Any references from customers?

Maybe if you are happy with something "shiney" not chrome you could live with it? Sure, different quality chromers make a difference too.

Post how it works.

I've seen these guys at SEMA. Killer chrome is awsome, I've used it but for bikes I would use their Mirrachrome. Also another site I found that sells their products you might want to check out.

Webmaster's Note: This person evidently is associated with the website he speaks of. He has posted several ads for this site. Just an FYI. Truckhi, you the etiquette on this board requires that you be forthcoming on your association with the site you pitch. I've moved your other posts (ads) into the Commercial Ads forum.

The Poconos
I have not personally had anything coated by this company but I have seen some of his work first hand and it looks amazing. I am just waiting for it to turn icy up here to get things done.
