After talking to Amy about different AVR options, it always seems to follow Sturgis because of vendor issues.  So, based on that info, Sturgis 2011 is already scheduled for Monday, Aug 8th thru Sunday Aug 14th.  The AVR should be the following weekend Thursday Aug 18th thru Sat Aug 20th.

I have to pick my vacation time in November so this is what I'll be blocking for next year.  Usually no official announcement from Victory until after the first of the year.

Thanks, I will start making plans to attend. I would like to meet you in Memphis on the way there.....when would you be leaving town for points North...Wednesday the 17th or sooner?

It is 750 miles to Memphis from San Antonio. How much farther to get to AVR?

It's 1000 miles from Memphis to Spirit Lake.  (I took the scenic route coming home this year.)

I'll probably do what I did this year and leave on the Tuesday and stop halfway.  Get to Spirit Lake Wednesday.  Two easy 8-9 hour days.  Start back home on Sunday.  I'm super-flexible on all that so can play it as it goes.
