What jewel of a museum. I would defiently recommend a visit. You've never heard of Stan(the Man) Engdahl you will know something after evcen a short visit. He raced motorcycles for 47 years. All I can say about that is Holy Sh** thats a long time. He truelly is The Man. He won over 600 trophies in that time. Stan's wife LaVona is the curator of the museum and also a kind and humorous lady. I could imagine all the stories she could tell.

The museum is in Marquette Kansas which is south of Salina. Their website is
kansasmotorcyclemuseum.com

The amount and quality of bikes they have is amazing. I fell in love with a
1928 Clevland. All I can say is I need to hit the Lottery big so I can put a
Clevland in my garage.

Any way check out the museum its worth the time.

It looks great, we have a similar jewel in the south of England, the Sammy Miller museum. Sammy was the most successful Trials rider ever and started the museum which now has many restored vintage road and racing bikes, well worth a visit if you are ever over here and can find the time.

That looks like a pretty sweet place to visit. But I don't think I'll be in that area anytime soon.

hopefully I'll be in the area again sometime next summer and hope to visit. I was in salina last month and say the signs and brochures for the place, however, I didn't have the time to go to really enjoy it.
