Apopka, FL | Last night I tried checking the air pressure in my VV using the Victory hand pump. Screwed it on, but the pressure gauge never moved off of zero. Double checked it and it was screwed on tight. Nada. Had to drag over the air hose from the compressor. Is there a secret I don't know? |

New Bohemia, VA | eeek, watch the air compressor, unlike a tire if you over pressurize you blow out the bladder.
The fox pump is cheap in my opinion, but the only reason it should have read zero is that there is no air in the shock. if the pump has lost its seal, but a little oil in there and see if it pumps up the shock and has air pressure.
Mine had given out the other day because it was dry on the inside and no seal, as soon as I screwed it on all the air went out and it read zero.

North Orange County CA | My experience with the dial gauge on the victory hand pump is that it is neither a reliable or accurate instrument. I discovered that mine was seriously off the first time that I used it.
I use an EZ-Air dial gauge with hose for both my shock and my tires and have found it to be both convenient and consistent. It also makes checking/putting air in the rear tire much simpler. |

When I use my compressor, I just turn the regulator down to the psi I want in my shock. |
