I found it interesting that I have less knee bend on the Vision than the Cross Country. |

Hartland, , WI | For all those people that wonder why the Vision is so popular with us we should fix/permanent paste this link to the forum section.
I had a BMW 1200LT fully loaded and couldn't drive it more than an hour and my knee started hurting. Saw the Vision when they came out...5 minute ride...bought it...sold the BMW the next day.
If comfort is what you rate very high on a touring bike this website is perfect. Check the knee angle difference betwee the BMW 1200LT and the Vision.....22 degrees!!!! The Goldwing....17 degrees! You can stop wondering why one test ride will make you pull the trigger.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA | I found, if your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can scroll between the images and get a better idea of the differences, giving you an overlay effect as you go.
Here I scrolled between ;
Vision and Goldwing
Vision and Road Glide
Vision and BMW K1600GTL
The Road Glide was closest in leg position and the BMW closest in arm position.
Too bad it doesn't let you move the feet around on the floorboards. Something the other bikes won't let you do.

elgin mn | I went for a ride yesterday and stopped in at a can am dealership, I had a idea I could buy a spyder for the co pilot, plus would have 2 fun cycles! The put me on a fully loaded w/pushbutton. I sat on it it Felt ok, went out 2 the 4 lane took off 1 mile up the hill my knees hurt my back felt cramped. I turned around dropped it off and told the salesman That I felt like a pretzel! Today I looked at this post and the angle of my knees on the can am hurts just looking at the cartoon dude. I love my Vision! |

My buddy runs Mick-O-Pegs on his LT. The most innovative highway pegs I have ever seen.

When I said I had everything on the BMW I did....I had the Mick-O-Pegs...and the Jpegs too....and the Michigan Wheel foot peg aftermarket...it moved my foot 2" forward. I tried everything and when using the aftermarket footrests....it felt like someone had put "road pegs" on a hippo...ouch!
The Mick-O-pegs are a great idea but the engineering isn't there yet. The bolts it comes with must not be harden enough as they bend easily and then you can't get them off to work on parts of the bike. My dealer could not get one off with a hamer and torch...had to buy me another one and install it. Again...you have to swing your legs out wide to get at the Mick-O-Pegs and feel like a wish bone of the turkey!
Loved the performace of my BMW...better performance for my liking than my Vision...but who gives a shXt if you can't ride if very long!
