Has any one purchased and is using a Victory carbon fibre full face helmet? What are your thoughts on them? Are they worth the money?

I can't vouch for the carbon fiber, and they may be good, but I've got a Victory half shell and I was thinking this morning, I'm not buying one of them again. Rather cheap, and it was...but that sucker is not made for the long haul on my head...

with that being said, there is tons of internet info on how to size a helmet to the shape of your noggin' for the best fit and comfort, somebody will pop on here soon with a link I'm sure...

My wife and I are looking at the full face helmets to try and extend our riding season a bit in the spring and fall. The local dealer has a couple that fit and is willing to let them go at a reasonable price compared to other carbon fibre helmets similar in appearance, the problem is that similar in appearance does not mean similar in comfort and protection. So I was interested in receiving any feedback before investing.

I've got a CFRP (Carbon Fibre Reenforced Plastic is the correct identification of the stuff) half that I wear once the weather gets warm enough to stop wearing the 3/4.
Having taught working with CFRP for better than 3 years to Boeing employees building the new 787, I'll take a true CFRP helmet (as opposed to a fake one)over about any other, it's stronger, lighter, will take more deformation without cracking or splitting. Of course. once it's hit the street hard, it becomes a shelf decoration just like any other whanged helmet and you'd be a fool to ride a compromised helmet.
If it costs a bit more to purchase, I'll revert to the really old BELL Helmet poster that asked "Got a $10 head? then get a $10 helmet"
