| Just wondering if i can tint the front windshield to help keep the sun from blinding me in the day. I was thinking to have it professionally done at Glamore Glaze. |

dinwiddie, va | I wanted to do the same. All the tint shops I called around me said it couldn't be done because of the contour of the windshield. I personally think he was full of it. But he said it wouldn't lay right and would bubble and crease. He passed up doing 3 windshields at once. I ended up getting an extra shorty windshield and blacking one out for around town use. If this guy does do it and it looks good, let me know, I would like to get a windshield done |

Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Spray on tint is too hard to get even. It will look good from the front, but crappy from the riders seat (backlit).
Vinyl tint can be formed to fit, and a good tinter could do it without bubbles, but the offgassing of the vinyl will cause craizing of the windshield and premature failure. That being said, their are many who have used vinyl tint with good success for a year or two. I wrecked a HD windshield with cool tinted flames in under a year. |

Corona, CA | I have a Cee Bailey's 16" on my Vision and I love it. It is thicker than the stock one and it doesn't scratch as easy as the stock one.
You can get it in light or dark tint. The one below is the dark. They run about $120 but they have sales all the time.

Richmond, Virginia | ........ just buy a tinted one dont try modify a stock. its not that expensive. and lets face it who wants to go cheap on a Vision.....
whats that saying "cant afford the trim, cant afford the bike..." |
