I don't know but I want to be part of it! How about a "central" location that would have good riding and nice scenery. Like the Missouri / Arkansas / Tennessee / Kentucky area.

OR Michigan... YEAH!

I can think of only one place... the future birthplace of one James Tiberius Kirk. Riverside Iowa.

But it would be great to have 30 or so vision riders all meet in one location WV would be my pick for a long weekend.

Jim

+1 on WV.

Great riding, and centrally located on the east coast.

Easier if we can get something a little more centralized.. dont get me wrong. The east coast is beautiful.... and i have tons of clients out there. But is is a long haul for us in the middle of the desert. Please give us enough time to plan ahead..............2012 would work for me.

Should be an event for all Victory riders not just Vision Riders, eventually there will be alot more CC & CR bikes out there than Visions. If we want it to grow we need to include these guys too................All Victory aftermarket vendors should be there too, lloydz, cycle ops ect.......

Central Wisconsin

+ 1 on the Ozarks, account of the most centrally located.

The Black Hills of South Dakota would be nice in September, cool nights and warm days.

Maybe two events/year.  Fly-in "West" could be somewhere along the Rockies at the beginning of summer.  Fly-in "East" could be Sept/Oct Fall colors anywhere from the Carolinas to New England.

It would be nice to have dates by the end of the previous year since I have to pick all my vacation time in November for the next year.

Add Illinios to that idea and you could follow the Great River Road.

I'm just say'n... This is just ONE road of many many roads.. Sea level to 5400 feet and back to sea level. You could ride it a dozen times and not see everything there is to see along the way.

Wiki of route 20 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_State_Route_20

Again, I'm just say'n...

Lots of good ideas for locations for a VV meet. Most of them sound great to me.

Here is a suggestion for a somewhat centrally located place that is in a lightly populated part of the country, offers good riding, has plenty of places to stay and to eat, and caters to motorcyclists. Room rates and meal costs are reasonable and lower than some other parts of the country. The actual town itself looks like a little slice of Bavaria. In the Spring, the Dogwoods and Redbuds are in bloom in the hills and in the Fall you get lots of color, better than the Rockies, but not as good as the Smokies/Appalachians. The Ozark Mountains are just hills when compared to the Rockies or Appalachians, but the riding is still good and the traffic, for the most part, is light. I'm referring to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The population of the town is about 2350 people and the whole town is on the National Register of Historic Places.
