Hi,

I am not a techie or wrench head. I learn more from reading here and seeing what others do.

I do not ride hard, but I like to ride fast. I don't think I have ever been over 3500 rpms, but will cruise at 75 MPH all day.

I wanted to add some more ooomph to her,

The had Stage 1 L1 put on when I bought her new, I added Lloydz Air intake plate, reflashed ECU and IAV.

I went back and forth between fuel controllers, but settled on the PC-V based on my riding style and the ability to map each cylinder.

I have Mr. Wizards exhaust tips on as well.

I had the bike dyno'd this week and here are the results.

First, let me say that I knew I needed to have it tuned after the reflash. The bike runs way, way to rich with the reflash.

The dyno center, Rob's Dyno in Massachusetts is well versed in Victory see www.robsdyno.com

While we were able to get modest improvements in hP & Torque ( I did not dyno it prior to the mods so no basis ) just the improvement in tuning we were able to dial in the fuel. The bike is a new animal !!

Crank numbers;

106.1 HP @ 4955 RPM
130.0 lbs @ 2780 RPM

Rear Wheel numbers;

94.8 HP @4955 RPM
116.1 lbs @ 2780 RPM

I am very, very happy with the results and the improvement in the smoothness of the ride and power after the tuning.

Anyone looking for a lot of bang for a little investment, I would recommend this !

Thanks for the info. I am not a Vision owner yet but likely will be soon. Looking for modest performance improvement w/o going crazy.

Thanks for sharing I have the same mods as you, minus the custom pc5 map. I'm just running the downloadable map from power commander. Ive always wonder what type of numbers this setup would provide...

Nice numbers. I also got the Lloydz intake, but went with his VFCIII fuel controller. Recently added Atom Bomb exhausts. Have been happy with this setup. Maybe someday I'll do the cams.

I have always heard people reflashing the ECU. What does this do? Is it the same as people who remove the rev limiter? What was cost to do this? Did you go through Lloydz on this?

The reflash ups the rev limiter and mapping. I did go through Lloydz it was $250 I beleive.

That beats me by 3 hp and 4 ft/lbs running big honkers, Lloydz intake plate and fuel controler. When I got mine all that was already on the bike. I took it to Daytona and had Lloyd dyno tune it. It was running very lean. Now it runs great, but I only get about 35 mpg.

How did they figure the crank numbers ?? Was it a mathimatical equation concerning tranmission and clutch drive losses ??

Yes- done with a negative run on the dyno.
