Central Wisconsin

Just completed moving the Victory Badges and wired in LED lights as turn signals.   Youtube video of mod.

Also added a Little Dot waterproof LED amber chip on the top inside of the mirror housings.

Let me know what you think

Thanks Jeff! I was able to remove the aluminum badge covers off the plastic factory holders

with thick braided fish line (floss might work).

That is very sharp! I was thinking this weekend if someone had a mod for the tail lights that would make each side of the "V" act as the turn signal...a bonus would be the trunk side marker at the same time.

Any thoughts?

Thank you Mike and .....................WELCOME ...................to the forum.

Having the V wired the way you stated would look GREAT!     I would think it can be done or has been done.

charbin  has a how to post on Sequential Blinkers     using some of his information you could probably attempt the mod your thinking about.

I have the  4710 Kuryakyn run-turn-brake controller wired only into the top trunk lights.

I just installed a harness for sequential taillights from Gary Lighton (glighto11 on this forum) and really like them.  My review of them got moved to the Review section fo the forum here: http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=8732&posts=5&start=1

There is a link to Gary's website on there. He has a link to a video showing them in action.

Thomas, that is a great looking mod. Well done!

Something to definitely think about installing. That led at the top of the mirror really catches the eye.

Thomas, that is a great looking mod. Well done!   Well thanks David!

Something to definitely think about installing.   Yes, I think you'll like it and the price is right

That led at the top of the mirror really catches the eye.

It sure does. When I did the video, I said "bulb" but it is a LED chip. The light the little LED chip puts out is amazing.

Thomas,

That is a really cool LED chip. It is on my "To do" list.

Glad you like it.

I thought about drilling a small hole to have just the dot part of the chip show.

Then run the very super thin flat wire connecting the dot chip behind the mirror housing.

But I was apprehensive about pinch points and if the led chip didn't hold up, be stuck with a small hole.

I guess it could always be improved later.
