So what are the options for both front and rear, seems slim to none?

Pick up one from the accesories display @ the dealers, you change the lower half of the left side controls clamp on the bars and it uses a threaded ball that the holder clamps to, took me about 7 minutes from 'let's see about this' to 'hey! it'll hold a pretty big cold drink cup'. Don't know what your passenger would do with their drink-but they pretty much do have both hands free all the time.
You'll need a metric allen wrench set.

Kruzer Kaddy.

Yea, I had that on my past bikes. There seems to be no application for the Vision, am I missing something?

I thought that the Bar Clamp that came with my KK was ugly and mounting on the control cylinders was too in-my-face. I used the piece of flat stock they give you and drilled and tapped my handle bar about halfway to the tree, on the outside. Works great.

Every morning I ride into work with a large 32 oz cup of java (plastic starbucks clear cup). I use the Victory holder with the ram ball on the left side. Works great. The key is the have the mount sticking straight up with a little lean to the back. This way the cup will lean up against the arm and sway around. The holder has 2 hooks which I take a large rubber band to hold in place until I get to work. If i want to drink while riding it requires a smaller cup with out the rubber band holding it in place. Smaller cup the wind will not effect it in the holder.

So you guys that have a Ram Ball mounted toward the outside of the clutch and brake reservoirs must have a different housing than I do. There is no hole tapped on my 2008 Vision Premium Tour.

that's true, you can do your own though as some has done, or buy newer ones with the holes.

I use the reliable Co-Pilot Caddy. She doesn't have much other stuff to do, and she is welcome to sip from my cup while she holds it for me. When I need a sip, she passes me the straw.
BONUS: Auto refills whenever I stop - best Drinkholder EVER !

Rear passenger cupholder = Victory armrests... they have the cupholder under the right arm that swings out.

I just drilled and tapped a hole on the forward side on the left side of the solid handlebars of my 2009 and then screwed the mounting bolt in for the Kruzer Kaddy and mounted the cup holder right onto that.
