Trying to get to as many Vision ABS owners as I can, I have asked this question on multiple forums.

My Vision's ABS has recently been in fault mode. (ABS light comes on and stays on)

Then it worked normally for a few days followed by another day or two of faults.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

Disregard my nonsense. I didn't see that it is intermittent until I posted.

Time to take her back to the dealership.

I would guess you have a wire that is shorting out and giving you that false code. I'm guessing you have two abs wire that are bare touching and causing the short. Or some where one could be pinched causing it.

i have a 2011 and so far it doesnt have this issue. i would go to the dealer asap since this is under warranty. i say go to the dealer because today for the first time i Used my ABS... i felt it in the pedal. i had to slam on the brakes becuase a car changed lanes and then slammed on his brakes.. so the abs stopped me from locking up my rear wheel! It was interesting to feel ABS in action on a motorcycle..

No issues with my 2011 Silver/Black Vision as yet....Only 2500 miles so far and ABS light works as intended....Take it back to dealer if it continues...IMHO I would not wait......

I have mentioned this to my dealership and told them I would drive Scream to them when it faulted again.
Hard to find a "fault" when it's not actually in a "fault" condition.

I was just wondering if anyone had "faults" due to dirty pick-ups/sensors on the wheels or had experienced a ABS module failure.

I would hope something would be stored in the computer and they could download it with digital wrench.

No problems with mine and have not hit brakes hard enough for ABS to kick in. I consider that a good thing. 12,500 miles

I had my 2010 ABS for well over a year and no issues with the ABS. If the light stays on when you are over 10 MPH then it is telling you that it is not going to function as ABS but your brakes will still function as a Non-ABS bike. Your system should be covered in the Victory warranty so the dealer should be able to diagnose and fix the system.

Hasn't happened on 11 but...I'm glad I have ABS. A dear jumped out in front of me while it was raining. Can't say as if they kept me from hitting it or not, but I did feel them go into action for a brief instant.

Never seen a "dear" in real life, oh you mean a "deer", not some body's "dear" walking along the road.... Just giving you a hard time. Glad the deer and you did not make have a moment! Here in Wisconsin it has gotten better about seeing/hitting deer but it sure sucks when hunting season rolls around. Can't have it both ways I guess. Like I always say:

Ride hard, ride fast but above all ride safe and free....

I have been going thru the same thing. The light comes on when it rains and stays on for any amount of time it feels like. I rode about 90 miles in the rain on Friday and its been on ever since. I am hoping it stays on till tmw as I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow. He is going to get 'the code' from the bike and order the appropriate parts from Victory. As I get more info this week I will post it.

Stinks that it comes on in the rain b/c thats when I feel I might need them the most.

Check your wiring. Pull wires from connectors and put a little grease on them then plug them back in. You must be getting a drop of water in the connection.
Look for a bent tab by your foot break where the wires are.

Mine isn't caused by rain.
The first 7 days of riding on my last trip I experienced ZERO rain.
The ABS started acting up on day 3.

Still no faults and I have put on another 1,500 miles since I've been home.
I have ridden in the rain several times (Ohio) since the trip.

I really would like to have this fixed under the one year warranty rather than the extended warranty.
